Ester was successfully launched in Örnsköldsvik last week, as you may have seen from the previous post on ester1901. Since then, Bo and the team have stepped the mast, completed the rigging and pulled up the sails for the first time.
Yesterday, on Friday the 2nd August 2019, Ester sailed for the first time since approximately 1935, when she was lost beneath the sea near Trysunda.
Please see Leif’s film on the sea trials, including an interview with Bo the project manager and Laurence skipper of Ester.
